1. Wear neatly fitted, belted pants, preferably black, dark brown or dark gray.

2. Wear polished dress or casual shoes.

3. Your hair should be short, styled in very neat braids or cornrows, but no weird tints, or large Afros.

4. A watch is your only appropriate jewelry. No earrings or chains.

5. A cuffed shirt with long sleeves tucked neatly into your pants creates the best impression. Oh yes, and do wear a belt.

6. A tie is optional, but always a symbol of respect.

7. Leave your scarf, do-rag, and baseball cap at home.
